Success in My Fear
I recently read a sweet little book by Neil Gaiman called Art Matters. It would be lovely in your therapist's waiting room, which is where I read it through in one sitting. It's full of Gaiman's thoughts on art and writing and one quote, in particular, struck me hard and has propelled me back into writing (for now). It goes like this:
"The moment that you feel that, just possibly, you're walking down the street naked, exposing too much of your heart and your mind and what exists on the inside, showing too much of yourself. That's the moment you may be starting to get it right."
Isn't that marvelous? And with that, I present to you: my short stories.
